Rebates
for purfling and bindings are cut with a router attached to a linear
bearing rail. The counterweight reduces the weight of the router.
The sled with the guitar is moved past the router bit (equiped with
bearing guide), which in turn rides up and down to follow the variation
in depth of the guitar. Aside from the noise, it's actually fun to
use!
